This August, Philadelphia's newest women-run theatre company is bringing The Choice, their award winning show, to New York. inFLUX Theatre Collective, founded by Jacqueline Libby, Christine Octavia Shaw, and Jacinta Yelland will present this interactive new work of theatre as part of Sublet Series: Co-op at HERE in New York City, August 5th-7th.

This September, Philadelphia's newest women-run theatre company will present The Choice. inFLUX Theatre Collective, founded by Jacqueline Libby, Christine Octavia Shaw, and Jacinta Yelland will premiere an interactive new work of theatre under the direction of Sarah Sanford.

On Broad Street in the heart of Philadelphia, nationally known as a center for experimental, boundary-pushing performance, a new partnership between Pig Iron Theatre Company and the University of the Arts' Ira Brind School of Theater Arts is poised to change the landscape of theater education. This new partnership will create the University of the Arts MFA in Pig Iron School's Devised Performance program and the University of the Arts Certificate in Pig Iron School's Devised Performance program. The program will be under the direction of Gabriel Quinn Bauriedel, co-founder of Pig Iron Theatre Company, within the UArts Ira Brind School of Theater Arts, led by Joanna Settle.

Ars Nova (Jason Eagan, Artistic Director; Renee Blinkwolt, Managing Director) proudly announces the lineup for its 7th Annual ANT Fest. This year's festival of All New Talent runs from June 2 - 28, featuring fresh new work from some of New York's most exciting emerging artists. From epic rock opera to sexy shadow puppetry, 2014's ANT Fest heats up Ars Nova this summer with four weeks of comedy, music, theater and a fusion of all three you won't see anywhere else.

The Arden Theatre Company just opened the world premiere of a new translation of THREE SISTERS. Curt Columbus translates this play, originally written by Anton Chekhov. The Arden Theatre calls this new translation, "audacious, alive, and contemporary." I would have to agree with this, THREE SISTERS is a contemporary retelling of Chekhov's beloved play, but it also keeps with the tradition of Chekhov. The Arden's production is bold and honest with a strong cast.

Directed by Pig Iron Theatre Company's Dan Rothenberg, As You Like It by The Acting Company will make its New York Premiere at The New Victory Theater, 209 West 42nd Street, from tonight, March 1-10, 2013.

On the First Friday of each month, Arden Theatre Company will host a different Philadelphia artists or group of artists to present short, free performances to enhance Old City's First Friday activities rooted in the visual arts.

Theatre Exile will present the second show of their 15th season with the Philadelphia premiere of Gruesome Playground Injuries by Rajiv Joseph. Directed by Exile's co-artistic director Deborah Block and starring Philadelphia favorites Charlotte Ford and Keith Conallen, Gruesome Playground Injuries will be running from November 10th to December 4th, with the official press opening on the 16th of November.
