Lantern Theater Company to Continue 30th Anniversary Season With FAITH HEALER By Brian Friel

Lantern Theater Company Presents The Philadelphia Premiere Of HAPGOOD By Tom Stoppard


Lantern Theater Company kicks off its 2018/19 season with the regional premiere of Hapgood by Tom Stoppard. Longtime Lantern artistic collaborator Peter DeLaurier will direct a cast that includes McKenna Kerrigan as MI5 spymaster Elizabeth Hapgood, with Damon Bonetti, Kirk Wendell Brown, Trevor William Fayle, Christopher Patrick Mullen, Adam Phelan, David Pica, William Zielinski, and young actors Charles LaMonaca and Will Zielinski, who will share the role of Hapgood's son Joe. Theater critics and members of the press are invited to request tickets for opening night on Wednesday, September 12 at 7 p.m. by contacting Anne Shuff at ashuff@lanterntheater.org. Lantern Theater Company Presents COPENHAGEN By Michael Frayn


Lantern Theater Company continues its 24th season with Michael Frayn's award-winning play Copenhagen. Considered the greatest play ever written about science and winner of two Tony Awards including Best Play, Frayn's riveting drama puts us in the heart of the greatest moral dilemma of the 20th century. Kittson O'Neill will make her Lantern directorial debut, working with cast members Charles McMahon, Sally Mercer, and Paul L. Nolan. PERMANENT COLLECTION Joins InterAct Theatre Company's 25th Anniversary Season


Inspired by events surrounding Philadelphia's Barnes Foundation, Thomas Gibbons' incisive drama Permanent Collection. The show continues InterAct Theatre Company's 25th Anniversary season as it grapples with conflicting perspectives on race and art. Directed by Producing Artistic Director Seth Rozin, InterAct is thrilled to present this revival of their most successful production in the theatre's history. Lantern Theater Company announces a one-week extension of its successful remount of New Jerusalem, The Interrogation of Baruch de Spinoza at Talmud Torah Congregation: Amsterdam, July 27, 1656 by award-winning playwright David Ives and directed by Lantern Artistic Director Charles McMahon. New Jerusalem will now run through September 30, 2012.

University of the Arts Presents CHICAGO, 3/22-25


The long-running hit musical Chicago will be performed by students at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia at the Merriam Theater on March 23, 24 and 25, 2012. In addition to evening performances on Friday March 23 and Saturday March 24 at 8pm and matinee performances on Saturday and Sunday at 2pm, there will be a preview performance on Thursday night March 22 at 8pm.
